Welcome, Vince Two Eagles

I’m excited to let you know that National Relief Charities will have a guest blogger joining us for the next six weeks. His name is Vince Two Eagles and he’s an enrolled member of the Yankton Sioux Tribe in South Dakota. Vince is also a journalist by trade.

I first came across Vince when reading the Native Sun News, which is published out of Rapid City, SD. Over time, I came to look for his stories because they’re always balanced, responsible, and well thought out. I also appreciate that he brings attention to realities that exist, that we sometimes overlook, or that we sometimes do not talk about, but that need to be discussed. Vince has a comfortable way of bringing these into the light and helping us understand both side of the issue.

I hope you will enjoy his upcoming cultural series, “What is an Indian?”  In the meantime, here’s a letter from Vince Two Eagles to you.
