Disaster Response for State of Emergency on Montana Reservations

The [emergency relief] supplies that PWNA sent made a huge impact. We were able to help Browning and Babb communities, and Heart Butte next. 500 individuals were served.

Emergency Preparedness: A Community-based Response

In addition to “disaster” events, PWNA responds to smaller emergencies that are disruptive to local communities. Over the past decade, PWNA responded to more than 55 disasters impacting Native American communities, with our aid benefiting 620,000 people.
