Collaboration & Training Specialist, Partnership With Native Americans
RaeAnne Schad lives in Rapid City, SD and is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. She received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory in 2014. After graduation, she soon returned to the Black Hills and began working with and for indigenous people within her community.RaeAnne started as a volunteer with the American Indian Education Fund (AIEF), a program of PWNA, and in 2016 began working full-time. As the AIEF Collaboration & Training Specialist, RaeAnne works directly with scholarship applicants, awarded scholars, and their universities. She also oversees the activities of our objective and subjective scholarship committees, who are responsible for reviewing and selecting the funded scholars annually.

In her spare time, RaeAnne enjoys spending time with her dog, Nanuq, and traveling domestically and internationally.
