Everything You Wanted to Know: Contest Winner

It’s time to announce the winner of our “Everything You Wanted to Know About Indians” book contest. The winner will receive a copy of the book signed by Anton Truer.

Our winner was randomly selected from among contest entrants through the use of a computerized random number generator. We thank all who entered the contest and encourage everyone to read Anton Truer’s important book, which is filled with insights and understanding that every American needs to know. And now…. drum roll… The winner is BlessedBeBrandy!

For those of you who entered the contest but did not win, or those who want to learn more, stay tuned. NRC is launching a question-and-answer series called “You Wanted to Know.”

In this focused series, we will continue providing food for thought and clearing up basic misconceptions about the Indian peoples and their cultures. Each topic in the series will look at one question discussed by Native American author and anthropologist Anton Truer and add our own perspective based on nearly 25 years of working in Indian country.

Look for “You Wanted to Know” on the 4th Tuesday every month from June through December.
